Parts Counter Salesperson:
Airport Equipment Rentals Anchorage is looking for a parts professional to join our team. This position will call for selling parts to all types of customers over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone. Responsible for selling, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories. In addition, performs in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties. 

Responsibilities:

o Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs
o Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
o Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
o Retrieve the part, verify part number and give to customer.
o Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
o Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager
o Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

o Basic data entry/keyboarding skills
o Excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude
o Basic parts and machinery knowledge
o Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application
o Ability to work in a team environment
o Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
o High School diploma or equivalent experience
o At least 2 years of heavy duty equipment or automotive parts experience required
o Ability to successfully handle high volume of phone and retail customers


Diesel Technician

Seeking qualified heavy equipment technicians for Airport Equipment Rentals branches in Kenai, Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Prudhoe Bay. Airport Equipment Rentals has one of the most diverse equipment fleets across Alaska, which runs in some of the harshest conditions across Alaska. We are seeking not only qualified technicians but technicians who are eager to learn and dissolve new types of equipment. We have John Deere Certifications available and continued training and advancement is a must.

We are looking for 5 + years of heavy or light duty equipment technician experience (Dealership experience is highly desired). A flexible mindset & attitude towards work location and schedule will also need to be factored in due to our seasonality and maintenance demand around the state. Must have own tools. Health benefits start after 90 days, and 401K after a year.
